Question: you know when you hear the beating in you body, i was once yold that this wasnt your heart but the valves opening and closing letting blood in and out is this true or have i got it really wrong
You are correct, the heart itself does not make any sounds when it beats. When a doctor listens to someones chest through a stethoscope the sounds that they hear are either the valves opening and closing or the sound of the blood flow.
