• Question: would you be able to have a tablet that can make you live for a long long long time?

      That’s would have to be a very clever tablet to avoid all illness, I don’t think you would be able to develop just one tablet. But maybe in the future using a collection of medicines and technology we will be able to live for a long long long time 🙂

      This would be very difficult, we are seeing that a lot of diseases are more likely the older you get. The pill would have to stop lots of different illnesses in one go and keep our brain healthy. You might also need the pill to protect you from viruses and bacteria. We are finding that bacteria are getting very good at protecting themselves from the pills we have at the moment, just look at MRSA. One pill might not be able to do this, but if we keep working hard as scientists then we may be able to cure a lot diseases and create medical equipment to do this.

      Yes we can have one which can increase the life span.
