• Question: why do you like cells so much?

      I love cells so much because although they contain the same DNA (the code that tells the cells how to behave), they are often very very different. I really like finding out how the cells control how DNA is turned into proteins (the bits of a cell that do all the work). This can go wrong, in the case of cancer. If we know how the normal cell becomes a cancer cell then maybe we can treat cancer in patients better.
