• Question: why did the megaloden die out

      wow thats a hard one.
      i dont know- it was a very long time ago- but i assuem a chage happened whereby it could not adapt quick enough to survive this change. maybe their prey evolved to avoid them, maybe there was an enviormental change like the temperature of the waters they lived in. maybe they migrated and couldnt survive. interesting quesiotn…id like to know the answer too!!

      The megalodon was a giant shark that lived about 25-1.5 million years ago. We are not sure why it died out but it could have been because of several reasons. It may have been that there was increased competition from other evolving species which have a caused a lack of food. It has also been suggested that there was a significant change in ocean temperature which may not have suitable for it to survive.
