I’m moving to Australia in the next three years so I see myself on a beach, with a dog, enjoying the sun and occasionally going to an Aussie laboratory and being a very british scientist!!

I hope in 10 years that I will have my own lab with other people working for me. We will be working on something really exciting that I have discovered. But luckily I have 10 years to find out what that is!

I am currently trying to become a more independent scientist. Hopefully I will achieve this and so in 10 years I would have my own group at a University. This means I will be lecturing undergraduates and have PhD students and postdocs that I will supervise.

In 10 years. I see myself researching pain or ageing, as those are the most interesting topics for me, I see myself running more neuroscience events for the public, and maybe even working with a doctor to do some clinical experiments. So to where exactly, I don’t know, but I hope there are nice people there.
