• Question: What sort of diseases have you diagnosed by looking at pieces of people (under the microscope)?

      well, what we mainly look for in our feild is cancer. but we can stain slides different stains to show up different diseases.
      for example other than cancer we can look for inflammation, TB, bacteria, fungi, leprocy, arthritis, infections, liver diseases such as cirrosis, Hepititis. we can look and diagnose cysts, amyloid disease……lots really!! any disease you can think of that affects the organ- we probably have a good idea that its present by looking under the microscope generally speaking
