      Dear Choleeee & Ibswag,

Till now I have been successful in establishing the reasons for liver failure in people who don’t take alcohol. Also, I have studied about the biochemical parameters extensively in an emerging disease called as “Non Alcoholic Fatty Livers Disease and most fatal is – Non Alcoholic Steatohepatitis (NASH)”.
Also, I have been successful in completing the comparative study of 3 drugs namely pioglitazone, hydroxy citric acid and quercetin” in treating NASH, which is one of the first studies in the literature.

Now, I am working towards inventing a biochemical marker to diagnose NASH, just like how you diagnose “diabetes” by looking at the “blood sugar” levels, so that we can save many lives.

      Regards,

      Dr. Mohan

So far I have helped us achieve a better understanding of how the heart contracts and I have identified some causes of certain types of heart disease. We are now working on new treatments for these diseases which will hopefully help us to save lots of lives.

      Hi,
I am working on lung cancer and so far I have managed to make a 3D model of the inside layers of the human lung, this will hopefully help us to learn more about how lung cancer develops. I hope to achieve much more in my future career.

Generally in research you tend to achieve a greater understanding on the “subject” you are looking at. This could be finding a drug which can help relieve the symptoms of a condition, to discovering something about the structure of the “subject”.

So far for me I have made my agent, and have found it is not toxic. I have found it works well with the regenerative agent I was working on previously.
