      The virus that causes chicken pox only causes the disease chicken pox once, but it can be reactivated later on in life to cause a similar disease called shingles.

      There are some stomach bugs such as Norovirus which you can get more than once too.

      Cancer can go into “remission” where the cancer cannot be detected anymore. The cancer can sometimes come back later, this is called a relapse.
