I’m very good at organising so I can utilise my time efficiently. I’m also very thorough in what I do which is very important in science
However, I’m massively messy- I am always getting told off for leaving all the stains in the sink and my lab coat is always the most colourful!!! I’m also very bossy and mean to my new trainees- but they always become the best scientists!!!

I am very good at the practical side, learning new and difficult experiments, and I think I am quite good at writing too which is important as we have to constantly publish our work.
We also have to present our work at meetings and conferences to many people. I would say this is my weakness as I do get very nervous when talking in front of lots of people.

I am great at understanding things, but I am really bad with memory. This is obviously a problem when trying to explain my results.
I am not great with scientific writing, as I am more accustomed to an informal writing style. But I am good at problem solving.

I really like writing about science and I think I am quite good at it. I sometimes find organising my day difficult and often end up working late or not eating lunch till 4 pm!
