  I have only been working in cancer research for about 1 and a half years so I am not very far yet. I worked for three years on a PhD about the immune system, but I learned a lot of knowledge and experiments that I have been able to put to good use in my new job researching cancer.

  I don’t research cancer, though I do look at it from time to time. Cancer is quite a complex field as it is a range of conditions rather than one problem. I would hope that some day I would be able to help with the understanding of cancers in the nervous system.
