      Molecules like water are formed when atoms share electrons and form bonds.
      It’s hard as this is chemistry! But if you look at the periodic table it tells you how many electrons each element has so some molecules need more than one of the same atom to bond to another to form a molecule.
      That’s why water which is H2O has to have two hydrogen atoms.
