• Question: have you ever failed a really importaint experimant?

      Sometimes experiments don’t work, even if we try really hard to do everything right. I have had small experiments go wrong, and usually you can work hard to find out why and fix it for next time. I haven’t had any big experiments fail though.

      Not an experiment but I did fail my driving test!
      It’s sometimes good to fail experiments as you can learn from them and get ideas for new ones to improve them.

      I would not say fail. When working in biology, sometimes the cells or biological system your are studying will not give you the results your expect, due to various reasons. If something goes wrong it is best to start again. Even finding out something does not work is a result in itself.
