I think it could be possible yes! It would probably be for making a big discovery, as the kind of research we do as scientist at the moment is relatively quite slow and takes time to learn how to do. Recently a 15 year old high school student in America called Jack Andraka developed a new way to detect Pancreatic Cancer, a very deadly form of cancer which is often discovered far too late. It will take time and trialing to see if his test is works well, but in the meantime he has become pretty famous for it winning lots of science prize money.

I think it is possible. They would need to come up with a very good idea which will help lots of people or change the way other people think about things in that field of research.

Why Not Dear? when we have witnessed “A five-year-old Chinese boy has become the youngest person ever to fly a light airplane single-handed, covering a distance of 30 km, it has been claimed”.

Come on…..”EXCELLENCE” not linked with the age……

You can Excel in any field at any age…..

It is possible, and has happened previously. Everyone in the world has a potential to discover something in science, we are all scientists in our own ways.
