      It is possible to keep the body alive without the brain, a good example is ed the headless chicken. However, I think we have a long way before we can transplant brains. It is a hard concept as the brain pretty much turns to porridge when removed from the body.
      If it was possible you would not have the other persons brain, in effect you are your brain. If your brain was replaced with someone elses, you would no longer exist in that body.
      If you mean the new brain is put in the body with your brain still inside, you will not get any information from the other brain, and it would make controlling the body hard if it was connected to the perpheral nerve somehow.

      That’s hard!!
      I don’t think it would be possible, it’s too complicated. And like Mo said- your brain has your own memories- if you brain was taken out and another’s out in- your body would become them as their brain would control it. As the brains themselves wouldn’t mix then you wouldn’t know the other brains memories…… I think!!!

      Yes it is possible practically; But it is against ETHICS;

      If you see literature:

      Way back, in 1970s of Dr. White and he Frankenstein’s monster transplanted a rhesus monkey head onto the body of another rhesus monkey. The monkey was apparently able to see and smile and taste, and in Dr. White’s words, ‘bite’ and he did this with the idea that eventually, human head could be transplanted onto a donor body. It might help people who had healthy brains but some degenerative illness of the body. So, while the animal awoke, it was reported to live for a very short time. It didn’t really have any use of the body because they weren’t able to reconnect the spinal cords.
