When I think about the amount of time I spent studying, for a few more years I could have been a doctor, so sometimes yes I do. But I don’t regret the area I am in and would always pick a career in science and helping people.

When everything is going wrong I do question why I am doing science, but I never regret it. It has caused me to develop into a better person, i think, it has made me more aware of my environment. I love the way science has influenced me and can’t picture myself being happy without it.

Not at all, the day I got my doctorate was one of the best days of my life! But sometimes the work can be very hard, you just have to power through and there is always something new and exciting just around the corner.
