      We like to think so, but intellegence is hard to define in other animals. We used to think it is related to the size of the forebrain, but then we are not the smartest as we don’t have the largest forebrain compared to the size of the rest of the brain.
      If it is ability to learn, there are many animals which learn faster and more efficiently than us. However, we like to think we are the smartest as we can communicate with each other, we can surpass the limit of the planet and go to space.

      we are pretty smart…but there are other animals that are also VERY clever. Dolphins, chimps, octopus even dogs and pigs are very clever too!!!
      It depends on how you define intellegence- perhaps how we treat each other is not very intellegent compared to other animals, so maybe we arnt……..

      My favourite intelligent animal are chimpanzees. They can display a high level of intelligence! They can co-operate with each other, use tools and learn lots of things including sign language which they can use to communicate with humans!

      Yes;

      apart from human beings, in animals, chimpanzees (look like humans) are most intelligent, since these animals also have the capacity in some ways to think like humans. They can manipulate their environment and utilize tools in order to help the community accomplish certain tasks. By and large they are often considered to be the smartest primate and therefore one of the smartest animals in the world.
