Evolution has made us what we are today. Many many years of changes to bodies has made us improve and become efficient. We are the shape we are as it’s whats best for what we need. For example a giraffe has a long neck to reach up to the trees to eat, a owl has good eyesight to hunt and a bat has excellent hearing also to hunt. We are shaped to walk upright as we have balance and use our hands for tools. We no longer need to be hairy as we use clothes etc. It’s all part of how our needs change and how we change with it. It takes a very long time to change an entire body though so we will look like this for a while yet!

Whatever we are now (the modern man), is completely to the process of changes that occurred during the evolution process.

It began with the last common ancestor of all life, primates, in particular the genus Homo, and the emergence of Homo sapiens as a distinct species of hominids (or “great apes”).
