      ohhhh this is an excellent question! i dont really know but..
      its such a bizarre creature. its a mammal, but it lays eggs, has webbed feet and a bill like a duck……. when they brought this over no one believed this was real.
      evolvution is essentially where we come from the same one thing- but learn to adabpt to our environments. if we survive well we dont need to change but if we do we will evolve. the platapus has obviously found its niche and doesnt need to change after soooo many years. they are obviously just very good at what they do!

      I’m not really sure, but they are my second favourite animal after Penguins
