      As long as you can hold your breath for. The average person can hold their breath for about 30 seconds to 2 minutes. But some people have trained their bodies so that they can hold their breath for longer, i think the current record is 22 minutes.

      some people are able to train themsleves to hold their breath for up to 7 mins!! but this is very rare! most people can hold their breath for 30 sec- 1 min. its all about being able to lower your heart beat so you can keep the oxygenated blood flowing to quickly.
      i can stay under water for about a min 🙂
